Chalard backs the engineers and founders building this infrastructure. We believe the foundational companies in robotics, physical AI, and autonomous mobility are being formed today. Our name, ฉลาด (chalàat), means clever in Thai. It is the quality we look for in founders and in the work they build.

Approach
We invest at the pre-seed and seed stage and take meaningful positions. Founders get a partner who can read a technical spec, attend a build review, and make introductions that open the right doors.
Our network is rooted in Bangkok and extends across Southeast Asia's manufacturing base, logistics infrastructure, and research institutions. For founders building hardware and physical systems, proximity to production is a practical advantage.
